Role Summary :

The Senior Presales Advisor – Core Data Center (Private & Hybrid Cloud) is responsible for designing and presenting next-generation data center architectures that blend compute, storage, virtualization, and cloud integration. These individual drives customer engagements to deliver scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized hybrid infrastructure solutions.

This role works closely with the sales, Core Solution Engineers (US), delivery, and OEM teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound, commercially viable, and aligned with customer objectives.

Experience Requirements :

Total Experience : 12–15 years in IT infrastructure domain

Presales Experience : Minimum 8–10 years in customer-facing presales or solution architect roles.

Relevant Industry Exposure : Enterprise infrastructure, managed services, or system & network integration.

Project Exposure : Hands-on experience designing and sizing large-scale Data Center, Hybrid Cloud architectures across multi-vendor environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Engage with enterprise customers to assess infrastructure requirements and business goals

Design compute, storage, and virtualization architectures aligned with scalability, performance, and availability targets

Propose private, converged, and hyperconverged infrastructure solutions (VMware, Nutanix, Cisco UCS, Dell VxRail)

Develop hybrid cloud architectures integrating on-prem DC with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Prepare HLDs, LLDs, BOMs, and technical proposals

Lead POCs, demos, and workshops for customer stakeholders

Support sales with ROI / TCO analysis and solution justification

Collaborate with OEM partners and delivery teams for design validation and feasibility

Presales & Customer Engagement Skills

Conducting technical discovery sessions and requirement workshops

Creating high-level and low-level designs (HLD / LLD) and BOMs

Developing and delivering presentations, demos, and POCs

Preparing RFP / RFI responses, solution write-ups, and architecture documents

Performing cost-benefit analysis and ROI justification for proposed solutions

Collaborating with OEMs for solution validation, deal registration, and sizing

Excellent presentation, articulation, and persuasion skills for CXO-level discussions

Proven track record in winning large enterprise or government deals

Soft Skills & Behavioral Competencies

Strong communication and storytelling ability — technical to business translation

Confident public speaker and presenter in customer and partner forums

Analytical thinker with solution-oriented approach

Self-driven, disciplined, and able to manage multiple presales pursuits concurrently
