Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Tour Consultant to develop, package, and sell international holiday programs.
Key Responsibilities
Research, design, and curate international itineraries for leisure travelers, FITs, groups, and corporate getaways.
Negotiate with hotels, DMCs, transport providers, and local suppliers to secure the best rates and inclusions.
Develop profitable, scalable packages with optional add-ons (excursions, transfers, etc.).
Maintain updated product sheets and price catalogs.
Sales & Business Development
Generate and convert leads through B2C (direct clients, agencies, digital leads).
Prepare compelling quotations, itineraries, and proposals for international travel requests.
Conduct client consultations and follow up to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain long-term client and supplier relationships.
Operations & Coordination
Coordinate with operations for seamless trip execution, pre-departure arrangements, and post-travel follow-ups.
Manage bookings, supplier payments, amendments, and documentation.
Ensure high service quality and customer satisfaction for each booking.
Stay updated on destination trends, visa requirements, airline updates, and competitor offerings.
Support marketing teams in creating promotional content and campaigns for international destinations..
Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
2–4 years of proven experience in international holiday product sales.
Strong understanding of outbound destinations and supplier contracting.
Demonstrated success in meeting sales and revenue targets.
Good knowledge of international travel documentation and visa processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong commercial acumen with pricing and margin analysis understanding.
Ability to manage multiple itineraries with accuracy and attention to detail.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Client-centric mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
Desired (Nice-to-Have)
Experience handling corporate or MICE travel accounts.
Fluency in a foreign language (English )
Established supplier network in key outbound markets (Europe, Southeast Asia, Middle East, etc.).
