Key Responsibilities

• Academic Leadership

Provide strategic direction and oversight for the academic programs within the schools, ensuring alignment with the university s vision and goals.

Champion a robust research culture by encouraging faculty and students to engage in high-impact research and scholarly activities.

Drive the adoption of modern pedagogical approaches, including technology-enhanced learning, experiential learning, and outcome-based education.

Identify, mentor, and retain high-calibre faculty members with expertise in diverse fields.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (faculty, students, administration) and external partners (industry, government, alumni, and community organizations).

Manage budgets, resources, and infrastructure allocation for the schools in collaboration with university leadership.

Qualifications

A Ph.D. from a recognized institution in a relevant academic discipline.

Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in higher education, with at least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Dean, Associate Dean, Department Chair, or equivalent).

Additional certifications in educational leadership, management, or pedagogy (e.g., from globally recognized bodies) will be an advantage.
