Job Description : Delivery Head / BU Head – IT Infrastructure & Cloud

Location : Bangalore, India

Role Summary

The Delivery Head / BU Head – IT Infrastructure & Cloud will lead the Infrastructure & Cloud Services Business Unit, owning end-to-end responsibility for growth, delivery excellence, client relationships, and talent development. This role calls for a strong blend of go-to-market strategy, solution architecture expertise, and large-scale delivery management. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in IT Infrastructure and Cloud services, with a proven record of building and scaling high-performing delivery organizations.

Key Responsibilities

Go-to-Market & Business Growth

Define and execute the GTM strategy for IT Infrastructure & Cloud Services across India and global markets.

Drive new client acquisition while expanding business within existing accounts.

Partner with Sales and Marketing to position Infra & Cloud offerings effectively.

Solution Architecture & Strategy

Apply prior Solution Architect experience to guide presales and solutioning initiatives.

Shape technical strategy to meet evolving client needs in cloud and infrastructure transformation.

Provide thought leadership on large-scale cloud migration and infrastructure modernization programs.

Delivery Leadership

Oversee end-to-end delivery of managed services, transformation projects, and key client engagements.

Ensure SLA compliance, governance, operational excellence, and proactive risk management.

Establish standardized delivery frameworks and best practices across all accounts.

Talent & Team Development

Collaborate with Account Delivery Heads to recruit, mentor, and develop TDMs, Architects, and other critical roles.

Build and strengthen technical and delivery leadership within the BU.

Foster a culture of innovation, learning, and succession planning.

Client Engagement

Serve as a senior client-facing executive for strategic accounts.

Lead solution workshops, proposal reviews, and executive-level discussions.

Offer strategic technical guidance to enhance client relationships and position the company as a trusted Infra & Cloud partner.

Qualifications & Experience

15+ years of IT Services experience with deep expertise in Infrastructure and Cloud.

Proven background as a Solution Architect with strong knowledge of cloud migration, managed services, and enterprise transformation.

Demonstrated success managing large-scale delivery operations with SLA adherence and robust governance.

Experience owning a BU or P&L, scaling delivery teams, and driving profitability.

Strong executive presence with the ability to build trusted CXO-level relationships.

Skilled in mentoring and developing delivery leaders, architects, and high-performing teams.

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent business / technical qualification preferred.
