Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Tender Specialist to manage the end-to-end tendering process. The role is critical in securing government and institutional business by ensuring compliance, competitive pricing, and timely submissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Tender Management
- Identify, track, and analyze relevant tenders / RFPs from government portals, institutions, and agencies.
- Prepare and submit technical and commercial bids in compliance with requirements.
- Manage pre-bid queries, clarifications, and amendments.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Compile technical specifications, certificates, brochures, and authorization letters in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain updated records of mandatory registrations (GeM, MSME, ISO, CDSCO, CE, etc.) and ensure compliance.
- Liaise with legal, finance, and operations to align terms and conditions, taxes, and statutory documentation.
- Pricing & Strategy
- Work with management to prepare competitive pricing strategies while safeguarding margins.
- Conduct market intelligence on competitor pricing and awarded tenders.
- Maintain a database of submitted tenders, outcomes, and insights for continuous improvement.
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Collaborate with regional sales heads and business teams to support tender participation.
- Engage with principals / suppliers for product clarifications and documentation.
- Coordinate with logistics / accounts for EMDs, BGs, and post-award execution.
Qualifications & Skills
Graduate / Postgraduate in Science, Commerce, or related fields.Minimum 2+ years of experience in a tendering / procurement role .Strong understanding of Indian tendering systems (GeM, CPPP, state portals, institutional tenders).Excellent attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications.Strong communication and coordination skills across stakeholders.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and tender portals.Skills Required
