Roles and Responsibilities
1. Clubs and Clans
Understand and take complete ownership of the clubs and clans ecosystem at the university.
Design and implement SOPs for smooth functioning of student clubs and clan systems.
Facilitate leadership training and mentorship for club and clan heads.
Ensure regular activities and cross-club collaborations.
Track participation metrics, impact, and innovation within student-led initiatives.
2. Learner Experience & Innovation
Understand the concept and importance of learner experience in a residential university context.
Ideate, design, and implement new initiatives to enhance learner experience and engagement.
Stay updated on trends in student engagement and implement best practices relevant to Gen Z learners.
Assist the Head of Learner Experience in transforming ideas into actionable programs and ensuring successful execution across departments.
3. Mega Events Management
Anchor all large-scale university events.
Manage end-to-end event operations from planning to execution, ensuring a seamless experience.
Liaise and coordinate with all internal departments, external vendors, and partners for efficient delivery.
Build and mentor student volunteer teams to develop leadership and teamwork through event planning.
4. Annual Learner Experience Budget & Calendar
Draft, plan, and maintain an annual learner experience calendar, budget records, including academic / non-academic festivals, cultural events, impact-driven programs, and wellness activities.
Collaborate with academic and non-academic departments to align activities across the university calendar.
5. Creative Communication & Visibility
Curate and co-create student magazines, newsletters, and editorials to highlight campus life.
Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams for social media takeovers, student stories, and campaign ideation.
Help position Rishihood's unique community culture across digital and physical platforms.
6. Stakeholder Collaboration
Coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth planning and execution of initiatives.
Foster positive relationships with faculty, operations, finance, marketing, admissions, and hostel teams.
Act as a bridge between students and staff for community initiatives.
Support leadership with reports, impact metrics, and strategic insights.
8. Marketing & Admissions Collaboration
Play an active role in onboarding learners during Semester Zero through immersive, engaging experiences.
Coordinate welcome activities, pre-admission engagement, and community bonding to improve retention.
Work closely with the admissions team to nurture learner touchpoints and feedback loops.
Requirements
Education & Experience Required
3–5 years of relevant experience in student affairs, community engagement, event management, youth-led programs, or educational institutions.
Strong understanding of learner experience design and student engagement strategies.
Experience managing large events and working with young adults (preferably Gen Z).
Proven ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders and bring diverse ideas to life.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
