Job Description : Data Modeler with Risk background - Risk Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities :

Requirements Gathering : Collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data needs for various risk types (e.g., credit risk, market risk, operational risk, cyber risk, fraud).

Data Model Design : Design and create conceptual, logical, and physical data models for transactional systems, data warehouses, and data marts within the risk domain, using industry best practices and modeling techniques (e.g., ER modeling, dimensional modeling).

Data Quality & Governance : Define data quality rules and implement validation checks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of risk data. Ensure data models adhere to data governance policies and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR, Basel Accords).

Technical Skills :

Proficiency in data modeling tools (e.g., ERwin).

Good knowledge of database management systems (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, etc.) and SQL programming.

Familiarity with data warehousing, big data platforms, and cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Risk Domain Knowledge : Good understanding of risk management principles.

7-8 years of experience in relevant area.
