Job description

1. IT Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and implement the organization’s overall IT strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives and identify opportunities for process automation and technology improvement.
  • Advise senior management on emerging technologies and how they can enhance business performance.
  • Establish IT policies, governance frameworks, and best practices across the organization.

2. Infrastructure & Systems Management

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud systems, hardware).
  • Ensure high system availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Manage enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, collaboration tools, etc.) and ensure integration across departments.

    • 3. Information Security & Compliance

  • Develop and implement robust cybersecurity policies and disaster recovery plans.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations (e.G., GDPR, ISO, SOC 2).
  • Regularly assess and mitigate IT risks, perform vulnerability assessments, and conduct security audits.

    • 4. IT Operations & Support

  • Supervise daily IT operations, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient issue resolution.
  • Oversee helpdesk and technical support functions for internal users.
  • Establish SLAs and monitor performance metrics for IT services.

    • 5. Budgeting & Vendor Management

  • Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective technology investments.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
  • Oversee procurement of software, hardware, and licenses.

    • 6. Team Management

  • Lead and mentor the IT team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture.
  • Identify skill gaps and plan for staff training and professional development.
  • Ensure proper workload distribution and resource allocation within the IT department.

    • 7. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of technological advancements to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools or systems to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Encourage a culture of innovation, data-driven decision-making, and digital literacy across the organization.
