Title : Team Lead - Continuous Improvement

Location :   Vashi, Navi Mumbai

Experience : 6 to 8 Years

Team : The ESG Research data team is responsible for delivering Sustainalytics’ suite of strategically important ESG research and data products which includes ESG risk ratings, climate and impact solutions, and sustainable finance solutions. Alongside producing high-quality data for research content, the team is also responsible for continuously collaborating in new research products, providing meaningful insights that help our clients in their investment decisions.

Role :   The Associate Team Lead / Team Lead - Operation excellence & continuous improvement performs the assessment of existing processes and identifies the improvement opportunities to enhance productivity and quality of data research teams. The team is responsible for continuous improvement using methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and will be responsible for

Design health an analysis and improvement proposals for current or new business / research processes using Lean methodology.

Define the problem through consultations, review and analyze information, develop and present the recommendations to the stakeholders using tools like Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, etc.

Identify quality, technical, or process improvements for data research teams with cross functional teams within data operations.

Communicate with executive leadership.

Skillsets & Responsibilities :

Single point contact for operation excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.

Strong stakeholder analysis and clear communication on-going projects.

Lead a team of analysts by providing clear direction, establishing SMART goals, and optimizing resource allocation.

Identify areas for improvement across the team and proactively take steps to improve by arranging individual and group training sessions.

Develop expertise in lean methodologies and translate that into data research process waste reduction.

Develop, monitor, and report on process performance metrics.

Manage the performance review process for the team alongside talent development and talent management.

Manage the Project(s) related to operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Create and manage project documentation such as scope, objectives, stakeholder impact analysis, etc.

Manage multiple deadlines with utmost diligence.

Strong analytical skills, analytical entrepreneurialism, and critical thinking.

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. (Min Green Belt – must have requirement).

Hands on experience in Leading Lean Projects (min 4-5).

Good understanding of tools like FMEA, 7QC, VSM, Statistical studies, Process Control Plans, etc.

Excellent planning, project management and organizational skills

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple workflows within a dynamic work environment.

Strong interpersonal, communication and writing skills.

Should have 6-8 years of relevant experience.

Nice to have

Technical expertise related to excel macros, power query and SQL.
