Job descriptionDiploma or degree in Operation Theatre Technology or relevant field. 1-5 years of experience in an ophthalmology or surgical setting. Knowledge of ophthalmic surgical procedures and instruments. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Basic understanding of sterilization techniques and infection control protocols.
Description
We are seeking an experienced OT Technician specializing in Ophthalmology to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assist ophthalmologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare and maintain ophthalmic surgical instruments and equipment.
- Ensure a sterile environment in the operation theatre before, during, and after procedures.
- Monitor patient vitals and provide support during surgeries.
- Assist in patient preparation and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
- Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.
