Position Overview :
We are seeking a visionary and strategic Vice President – Cloud Transformation & Cybersecurity to lead our client's digital modernization journey. This executive role will be responsible for driving cloud-first initiatives, securing the enterprise's digital infrastructure, and aligning cybersecurity strategies with the broader business transformation goals in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
The ideal candidate is an expert in both cloud strategy execution (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA) , with strong experience in leading transformation initiatives across global manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities :
Cloud Transformation Leadership
Lead enterprise-wide cloud migration and modernization initiatives (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).Define and execute the multi-cloud / hybrid-cloud strategy aligned with business growth and compliance needs.Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and business teams to re-architect legacy platforms into cloud-native environments.Establish KPIs for cloud adoption, cost optimization, and operational excellence.Cybersecurity Strategy & Governance
Develop and enforce a robust cybersecurity strategy and risk management framework.Oversee security operations (SecOps), incident response, threat intelligence, and vulnerability management.Lead regular audits, risk assessments, and compliance programs for data privacy and regulatory adherence (21 CFR Part 11, GxP).Drive implementation of Zero Trust Architecture and modern IAM frameworks.Stakeholder Engagement & Leadership
Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and board members on IT risk, cloud investments, and digital trust.Lead, mentor, and grow cross-functional teams across Cloud Engineering, Security, and Compliance.Manage external vendors, cloud providers, MSSPs, and regulatory bodies.Innovation & Best Practices
Stay ahead of emerging technologies, regulatory changes, and industry threats.Foster a culture of continuous improvement and agile delivery within IT security and cloud teams.Champion DevSecOps, infrastructure as code (IaC), and secure cloud-native development practices.Required Qualifications & Experience :
15+ years of progressive experience in IT, with at least 10+ years in executive leadership roles.Proven experience in leading Cloud Transformation programs at an enterprise scale.Deep understanding of cybersecurity principles and risk frameworks in manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments.Experience with regulatory compliance in life sciences : GxP, FDA, 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, etc.Hands-on expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity tools (SIEM, EDR, CASB, SASE, IAM).Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, Azure / AWS Architect, TOGAF preferred.Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or related field.Show more
