Senior Software Engineer MERN Stack

Key Responsibilities :

Build and scale architecture to handle millions of messages daily.

Lead and guide a team of engineers in day-to-day development activities.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and deliver new features.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.

Conduct code reviews to ensure quality and standardization.

Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and system issues.

Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning & improvement.

Contribute to architectural discussions and long-term technical direction.

Stay updated with emerging technologies and integrate them into development processes.

Ensure security, reliability, and scalability of applications.

Work closely with DevOps to streamline deployment & monitoring.

Qualifications :

Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred).

5+ years overall experience with at least 3+ years as a Software Engineer, delivering production-grade software.

Strong expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).

Proficiency in JavaScript and modern frameworks.

Solid experience with HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.

Strong knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Hands-on experience with RESTful API design & development.

Expertise in database design & management (especially MongoDB).

Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).

Proficient in Git and version control workflows.

Exposure to Docker & Kubernetes for containerization & orchestration.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills.
