Description
The position is responsible for originating, structuring, and executing a diverse range of debt capital market products while ensuring compliance and contributing to the overall success of the team and organization.
Responsibilities
- Origination and execution of Debt Capital Market products such as Pass Through Certificates, INR debentures, FCY bonds, FCCBs, and private credit.
- Develop and deliver compelling pitch decks for client presentations.
- Present to clients, explaining product offerings and negotiating deal terms.
- Provide regular market updates and pricing information to clients.
- Prepare and manage all necessary transaction documentation.
- Liaise with external parties (lawyers, trustees, other banks) to ensure smooth transaction execution.
- Collaborate with internal teams (IBG, asset owners, legal, compliance, credit sales) throughout the deal lifecycle.
- Structure and execute various debt capital market products (PTCs, INR debentures, FCY bonds, FCCBs, private credit).
- Perform due diligence and credit analysis on potential borrowers.
- Manage the selection of assets for PTC pools.
- Coordinate with rating agencies to obtain credit ratings for debt instruments.
- Perform periodic stress testing on PTC portfolios.
- Take care of all internal and external compliance activities.
- Coordinate team audit activities and participate in team strategy building.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
4-6 years of experience in INR debt capital markets, securitization, credit structuring, or debt advisory.Prior experience in structuring and executing PTC transactions.Experience in using Excel for asset portfolio stress testing using historical pool behavior.Basic understanding of debt finance, financial analysis, and covenants.Basic understanding of bond mathematics is essential.Strong presentation and communication skills.Proficient in MS PowerPoint and MS Excel.Skills Required
