On behalf of a global client, RED is currently looking for a Technical EWM Consultant that has experience with MFS to join a multi year program in Germany on a part time basis (3 days per week).

Role Details :

Duration - 12 Months + Possible extension

Capacity - 5 days / week, 8 hours / day – you will not be able to juggle a permanent position alongside this

Overview :

The SAP WM Consultant will be responsible for end-to-end implementation and support of SAP Warehouse Management (WM) processes within the SAP ECC environment. The role includes business process design, configuration, data migration, testing, and go-live support for plant and warehouse operations.

The candidate should possess strong functional expertise in warehouse and logistics execution processes with hands-on ECC WM configuration experience. Good understanding of transportation, cross-docking, storage strategies, and picking strategies. Candidate should have working knowledge of SAP ALE / IDOC interfaces between ECC and external systems (if applicable)

SAP WM roles and responsibilities : -

1. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand warehouse and plant operations.

2. Conduct workshops to gather functional requirements for inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse movements.

3. Map business processes to SAP WM standard functionalities, identifying gaps and providing solution design.

4. Configure SAP WM components for warehouse structure (storage types, sections, bins), putaway, picking, replenishment, and stock transfer.

5. Design and configure interfaces between WM and other modules such as MM, SD, PP, and QM.

6. Define and configure handling units, batch management, and physical inventory processes.

7. Lead data migration activities including master data (storage bins, material masters, stock), and transactional data.
