Job Title : Business Analyst

Location : Mumbai / Chennai

Type : Full-time

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Agile delivery, customer journey mapping, and a solid understanding of technology-driven product development. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to define business needs, translate them into actionable user stories, and ensure solutions align with customer and business value using INVEST principles. This role is crucial in shaping the product and service experience across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities :

Collaborate with Product Owners, UX / UI teams, Developers, and Stakeholders to gather and clarify business requirements.
Create and maintain customer journey maps, process flows, and service blueprints to visualize the end-to-end experience.
Write high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria following INVEST principles (Independent, Negotiable, Valuable, Estimable, Small, Testable).
Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Grooming, Stand-ups, and Retrospectives.
Work with the technical team to ensure requirements are understood and properly implemented.
Drive discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, and backlog refinement activities.
Analyze data and user feedback to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validate solutions meet business expectations.
Maintain up-to-date documentation and traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC.
Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and issues in coordination with delivery leads.
Advocate for customer-centric design and digital transformation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field (MBA or technical background preferred).

5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Agile environments.

Proven experience with customer journey mapping tools (e.g., Miro, Lucidchart, Figma, or equivalent).

Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and working in cross-functional teams.

Strong command over INVEST principles for writing effective user stories.

Experience with backlog management tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Familiarity with software architecture concepts, APIs, databases, and cloud-based platforms.

Analytical mindset with a strong problem-solving orientation.
