Role purpose
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Graphic & Visual Designer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team. The Graphic & Visual Designer works as part of the Digital Marketing Service team to identify requirements, implement planning and develop and deliver the graphic design element of the content, SEO, digital and traditional marketing strategies that are needed by the Think Little Big company itself and the digital marketing business’s clients, to increase brand awareness, increase lead generation and ultimately to deliver sales to the businesses.
Role requirements
We are looking for a graphic & visual designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics across all mediums, on and off line, for Think Little Big and their digital marketing service clients. The ideal applicant should possess strong practical knowledge of all relevant design tools, with the ability to visualise and create graphics for a range of requirements including social media posts, on and offline adverts, websites, landing pages, emails, infographics, exhibitions and more.
You’ll work closely with the other digital marketing teams to conceptualise campaigns and graphics work as per client briefs, delivering high quality, innovative and attention-grabbing work. You will need to be able to multi-task between campaigns and handle multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Identify and create compelling visuals from briefs and meetings, asking questions and recognizing areas where more information is required.
- Produce work for different clients and project types in a fast-paced environment.
- Oversee all design projects, from conception to delivery.
- Maintain client / appropriate brand consistency throughout all graphic delivery.
- Design and create graphic and video content for social channels like , Twitter etc. as well as paid advertising channels.
- Design and manage content for client websites such as blogs.
- Where required, develop colour palettes, images, text, styles and layouts for clients.
- Create own images and illustrations.
- Design banners for digital platforms, social media and website.
- Work closely with the web developer to design and deliver stunning new websites for Think Little Big and our clients.
- Work closely with the content team to design and create infographics, case studies, whitepapers, etc.
- Provide creative direction for videos and have involvement in pre and post production processes.
- Where necessary, liaise with suppliers, from video production to print, in the client’s own country.
- Assist with UI / UX design if required.
- Be open to design reworks and edits.
- Identify and develop design systems, processes and creative solutions to roadblocks to allow the team to deliver work as required.
- Prioritise all aspects of projects, review deliverables to ensure deadlines are met and communicate changed priorities to senior creative marketing team members.
- Review other graphics’ team members work to ensure high quality and timely delivery.
- Work as part of a team with account managers, content writers, SEO and PCC team members and web developers.
- Responsibility for delivery of all graphic design components to fulfil client requirements.
Skills required
Use a range of graphics, editing and animation software to design and create all required graphical content to meet the client brief; to include web sites, landing pages, emailers, social media posts, info-graphics, GIFs, illustrations, print, online and social media ads, exhibition stands, leaflets and flyers, proposals, animations and video stories.Essential skills
4-5 years of experience in professional graphic designing, ideally with a service client or agency.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field.Very proficient hands-on experience with appropriate graphic design software such as the Adobe Creative Suite : Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Figma and Premiere Pro skills would be useful.Ability to understand and interpret a brief, taking into account client requirements, and to conceptualise and transform ideas into effective designs.Very proficient in web design, ideally WordPress.Basic video production skills like editing, animation, and motion graphics will be a bonus.Experience of designing for all mediums including creating engaging graphic content for Facebook, and YouTube.Good knowledge of corporate branding.Able to manage quality standards and timelines for multiple projects, simultaneously.Constantly works to improve their skills, including management skills, and keep updated about the design industry and its latest developments.Excellent written and verbal communication with good presentation skills.Good organisational skills including time, project, and process management and able to multi-taskExperience of working within a team of creative professionals as opposed to working alone with good interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills.Preferred skills
