Detailed responsibilities
Team Leadership and Supervision :
- Oversee the day-to-day activities of Clinical Service Line Trainers, ensuring that training sessions are conducted efficiently and effectively.
- Provide guidance and support to trainers, helping them resolve challenges and improve their training delivery.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of trainers, providing feedback and coaching to maintain high training standards.
Quality Assurance :
Ensure the quality of training programs by reviewing training materials, observing training sessions, and implementing improvements based on feedback and performance data.Support trainers in utilizing effective training methodologies and tools to maximize learning outcomes.Training Coordination :
Coordinate with Global Talent Development and Operations teams to schedule and plan training programs, ensuring alignment with business needs and smooth execution in their respective location.Oversee the handoff process of trainees to Operations, ensuring they are fully prepared and equipped for their roles.Continuous Improvement :
Lead the continuous development and refinement of training materials and programs, ensuring they are up to date with industry standards and organizational needs.Analyze trends in trainee performance and training effectiveness, using data to drive improvements in training delivery.Stakeholder Collaboration :
Work closely with other departments irrespective of geographies to align training initiatives with broader business objectives and address any training-related issues that arise.Act as a point of contact between trainers and other departments, facilitating communication and ensuring that training activities support overall business goals.Performance Management :
Track and report on the performance of training sessions and trainers, using data to inform decisions about program adjustments and improvements.Conduct regular performance reviews with trainers, setting clear expectations and development goals.Training Needs Analysis (TNA) :
Assist in conducting Training Needs Analysis in collaboration with Talent Development and Operations teams to identify gaps and provide targeted training solutions.Support the delivery of refresher training and continuous education programs based on TNA findings.Compliance and Documentation :
Ensure that all training activities comply with organizational policies and procedures, including information security, HIPAA, and HR policies.Maintain accurate records of training activities, including schedules, attendance, assessments, and Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop trainers.Proficiency in training methodologies, performance evaluation, and program development.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Learning Management Systems.Personal Attributes : Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Technical / Domain Knowledge : Knowledgeable in specific medical Inpatient & Outpatient coding terminology and guidelines, not limited to but include APR-DRG, MS-DRG Diagnosis, CC, MCC, ICD 10 coding, CPT procedure coding, Mortality, PSI and HAC etc. Application knowledge of MCG and InterQual GuidelinesMust maintain one of the certifications, either CCS or CDIP from AHIMA and CCDS with Ensure compliance with all applicable organizational policies and procedures, including information security, HIPAA, and HR policies.Key result areas
Training program effectiveness rating, training throughput, manager feedback on trainees performance, training assessment average, skills assessment rating by business managers, OJT certification Experience : 3-5 years of experience in training and development, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team leader role.
Prior experience in Clinical Services or the healthcare industry is advantageous. Should be an International Medical Graduate / Doctor, MD or RN, BSN, APRN.Job location : Mexico Office, Guadalajara
