Finance Controller

The Role :

The Loopworm Founder Team is looking to hire an energetic, passionate and diligent Finance Controller to journey with the Founders and Leadership Team to newer frontiers of success. He / She will play a key role in improving the financial management capability of the business, with the priority objective of supporting strategic growth plan of Loopworm. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build and lead the Finance function at Loopworm.

Key Relationships :

Founders, Investors Executive Team, Functional Heads, Internal Stakeholders including Employees, Supply Chain Partners and Clients

Key Responsibilities include :

• Provide Leadership to the Finance and Accounts Team for the following : Day-to-day financial requirements such as Billing & Invoicing, Cash Flow Management, Accounting, Financial administration, Capital Expenditure, Accounting & Budgeting, Inventory Management, Insurance, Compliance & Audit requirements and Taxation Matters
• Define short / medium- and long-term Finance strategies to support Loopworm's overall strategy and objective
• Design, develop and implement mechanism for raising debt - ECBs, NCDs and other optimal sources of capital
• Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the Company, as well as automation of the Finance function that aids in periodic investor reports and fundraising
• Support commercial related activities including, but not limited to, deal structuring, contract creation, approval for offers, contract management and credit limits for clients
• Financial and business forecasting, preparation of financial statements, planning and reporting; internal Financial and Business Reporting; Supervising and coordinating Accounts Reconciliation including contingency liabilities
• Oversee and monitor effective tax strategies and Statutory and Government compliance – GST, TDS, ROC etc; Manage the overall tax operations for timely delivery of all tax compliances - direct and indirect and as also minimise audit deficiencies
• Provide Finance strategy to senior management and also interact with the Board of Investors
• Develop appropriate key performance indicators to monitor and drive the financial performance of the organisation; Work closely with business and functional leaders to develop financial forecasts, reports and operational goals
• Represent the Company externally, as necessary, particularly in banking and lease negotiations and also manage vendor relationships
• Candidate Requirements :
• 5-8 years of post-qualification experience (Qualified CA) with strong analytical skills;
• Experience with a Public Company would be an added advantage
• Experienced in Financial Closing, Planning, Controls & Compliance, Indian Accounting Standards, Taxation requirements and Payroll
• Accelerator who loves building teams and businesses, and being a catalyst for improvement and excellence
• Strong Finance-Business Connector for designing and embedding the Finance strategy for value creation and growth
• Strong proficiency with Financial Systems
