The Solutions Architect is the strategic designer of iMerit’s Mobility DataOps ecosystem. This role defines the work before the work begins—turning complex client requirements, data flows, and tool capabilities into clear, scalable workflows that power high-quality annotation, training, and delivery operations.
You are the architect of clarity. You map how data moves, how tools should be configured, and how teams will execute. You transform ambiguity into executable workflows that Training Managers, Delivery Leads, and cross-functional partners can operationalize with confidence.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you “talk the talk” by designing the technical architecture of Mobility projects and ensuring every workflow is aligned for day-one success.
Core Responsibilities
- Translate client requirements and technical specifications into detailed workflows, schemas, annotation guidelines, and tool configurations.
- Partner with Training Managers and Delivery Managers to ensure project setup aligns with human performance realities, throughput expectations, and scalable training models.
- Validate tools, data pipelines, and configuration logic pre-launch to eliminate blockers and ensure operational readiness.
- Create clear and comprehensive documentation, workflow maps, SOPs, and technical enablement materials.
- Monitor workflow performance, identify gaps, and propose continuous improvements to optimize quality, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with the Sr. Manager of DataOps and Enablement on strategic scaling, new system design, and ecosystem innovation.
Required Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in Data Operations, Solutions Architecture, Technical Program Management, or similar technical / operational roles.Experience with data annotation, ML / AV workflows, or complex multi-step operational processes.Strong ability to translate technical requirements into structured, scalable operational workflows.Excellent documentation, workflow design, and system-mapping skills.Proven experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, QA, Training, Delivery).Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate blockers and define preventive solutions.Preferred Qualifications
Experience in autonomous vehicles, perception systems, Triage, LiDAR / camera data, or related ML data pipelines.Familiarity with annotation tools, schema creation, ontology design, or pipeline validation.Ability to interpret operational analytics (throughput, TPT, FPA, QC / Audit layers, error categories, workforce distribution).Experience improving workflows or systems at scale across global operations.Strong systems-thinking mindset with a focus on clarity, efficiency, and operational quality. What Success Looks Like
Workflows launch smoothly with minimal defects, misalignment, or technical blockers.Training and Delivery teams clearly understand project requirements, schemas, and tool behaviors.Tool configurations and pipelines match client expectations and scale effectively. You proactively identify workflow gaps, propose solutions, and drive continuous improvement.Weekly performance improves due to clearer, more efficient workflow design and documentation. You help shape the Mobility DataOps ecosystem into a more streamlined, predictable, and scalable system.Role Essence
You design the system before the work begins.
You ensure clarity where ambiguity exists.
You architect the workflows that power high-quality operations.
