Fractional CHRO (Governance, People Systems & Leadership Transformation)

About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned HR transformation leader with cross-country experience across South Asia and India , to partner with BGR’s Transformation Lead and Strategy team in driving leadership stability, governance, and cultural alignment for a fast-growing multinational manufacturing organization.
This is not a theoretical consulting role — it is a hands-on mentoring and governance assignment under BGR’s Build–Operate–Transfer (BOT) model. The Mentor CHRO will act as the cultural bridge and governance anchor, ensuring that people systems and leadership behaviours are institutionalized across all operating geographies.
Key Responsibilities
Partner closely with the Transformation Lead and Strategy Leader to integrate leadership systems across India, China, and South Asian operations .
Coach promoters and business heads on decision rhythm, cultural alignment, and leadership behaviour .
Institutionalize people governance systems — performance management, accountability reviews, and leadership scorecards.
Mentor local HR teams and functional heads to ensure uniform governance cadence across countries.
Build succession readiness and leadership continuity plans for key roles across geographies.
Facilitate BGR’s 90-180 day transformation dashboard reviews and ensure HR-related deliverables are achieved.
Serve as the governance conscience of the transformation — ensuring decisions, roles, and behaviours align with the company’s long-term structure.
Ideal Profile
20–25 years of HR leadership experience with regional or multi-country exposure in South Asia (India, China, ASEAN markets) .
Proven success in organizational transformation, leadership integration, and governance setup .
Background in consumer goods, machine or equipment manufacturing sectors in a multi country business is required.
Ability to influence promoters and CXOs without formal authority.
Strong executive presence, communication, and cultural sensitivity.
Available for occasional international travel (India–China–South Asia) .
Engagement Details
Part-time engagement (~60 hrs / month) over 4–6 months.
