Job descriptionContribute to customer problem resolution and act as a technical escalation point. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to diagnose complex issues, identify serviceability gaps, and drive resolution. Provide expert technical guidance to address advanced customer challenges. Maintain and promote a strong, positive team and organizational culture. Continuously develop technical skills across core and adjacent technologies. Engage with customers and Cisco stakeholders to plan, design, install, configure, integrate, and optimize Cisco technologies based on project needs. Support pre-sales efforts and translate business requirements into technical solution designs. Monitor and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance and stability. Strong hands-on expertise with Cisco Nexus Data Center technologies, including VPC, VXLAN, and related features. Strong understanding of IP routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, and IGRP. Proven experience in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus platforms. Deep knowledge of HSRP and VRRP. Familiarity with Cisco router platforms and VPN technologies. Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and datacenter issues. Understanding of encryption standards and secure hashing algorithms (e.g., AES, SHA-2). Proficiency with tools including Excel, PuTTY, SecureCRT, Notepad++, VS Code or Sublime Text, Windows CMD, Linux, and efficient web browser usage. Interacts with internal teams, customers, leadership, engineering groups, partners, field personnel, CAP Managers, and Cisco product organizations Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 4+ years of datacenter technology experience. Cisco certifications such as CCNP or CCIE are preferred.
