Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist - Bengaluru

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented FP&A Specialist to join our finance team. The role will be responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and providing data-driven insights to support strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, financial modeling expertise, and experience in a SaaS or technology-driven environment.

Location : Bengaluru, Karnataka, India

Roles & Responsibilities :

Financial Planning & Forecasting

Develop and maintain financial models to support forecasting, long-term planning, and strategic initiatives.
Partner with business leaders to prepare annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
Provide financial insights into revenue growth, expenses, and profitability trends.

Analysis & Reporting

Perform variance analysis (budget vs. actuals) and identify risks and opportunities.

Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management.

Track key financial and operational metrics for business performance.

Support management with ad-hoc analysis and decision-making.

Strategic Support

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product to understand financial impacts of business activities.

Provide recommendations to improve financial efficiency and ROI across functions.

Assist in pricing strategies, cost optimization, and investment analysis.

Compliance & Governance

Ensure financial planning processes comply with company policies and statutory requirements.

Support internal and external audits as needed.

Role Requirements :

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA / CA / CFA preferred but not mandatory).

2–3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A or similar financial roles.

Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in MS Excel, financial planning tools, and ERP systems (experience with SaaS metrics a plus).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced SaaS / technology environment.

Work Schedule : Monday – Friday

Salary : Competitive (Based on experience)
