We are seeking an experienced Logistics Operation Manager to lead our logistics team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management and logistics operations, with a proven track record of optimizing processes and managing teams.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
Develop and implement effective logistics strategies to optimize supply chain processes.
Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, and retailers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Analyze logistics data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards.
Manage and lead a team of logistics staff, providing training and support as needed.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with transportation and warehousing service providers.
Monitor and report on the performance of logistics operations, providing insights to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

8-10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management.

Strong knowledge of logistics software and systems (e.g., ERP, WMS, TMS).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience in team management and leadership.
