Role Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and disciplined Accounts & Finance Manager to lead the finance and accounting operations for our India office while providing analytical and performance insights to global leadership.
This role goes beyond accounting—it combines hands-on operational finance (invoicing, collections, vendor payments, compliance) with strategic FP&A responsibilities (revenue forecasting, performance analytics, and financial modeling).
The ideal candidate will be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or a graduate / postgraduate from a top-tier business or commerce institution , with 8+ years of experience managing finance operations, revenue reporting, and cross-functional analysis in a SaaS or fast-scaling business environment .
Key Responsibilities Core Accounting & Financial Operations
- Oversee daily accounting functions including invoicing, AR collections, and vendor payments.
- Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
- Manage monthly and annual revenue registers and reconcile all customer accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings (GST, TDS, etc.) and maintain audit-ready documentation.
- Administer and improve processes in QuickBooks for both local and global entities.
Strategic Financial Planning & Analysis
Support the CEO and U.S. Finance leadership with burn-rate analysis, hiring plan budgets, and expense projections .Assist in preparing consolidated P&L statements, cash flow forecasts, and scenario models.Contribute to ARR forecasting and performance analysis for key functions such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.Build predictive financial models to track each function’s contribution to revenue growth and operational efficiency.Performance Monitoring & Analytics
Evaluate Sales pipeline movement vs. quota and track BDR demo conversions to ensure accurate performance reporting.Manage and audit bonus and commission calculations for Sales and Success teams.Conduct Marketing ROI analyses , tracking channel performance and recommending budget reallocations for efficiency.Identify financial and operational gaps across departments, coordinate with functional heads, and drive corrective actions.Cross-functional Support
Act as a financial thought partner to the CEO , providing insights, risks, and proactive recommendations.Standardize financial reporting and decision-making processes across teams in India and the U.S.Serve as an extension of leadership , ensuring accountability, timely reporting, and clear communication across departments.Process Optimization
Implement automation and process improvements to enhance financial reporting accuracy and timeliness.Ensure robust internal controls, documentation, and audit readiness across all finance functions.Required Qualifications
Chartered Accountant (CA) or graduate / postgraduate from a Tier-1 institution (e.g., IIMs, ISB, XLRI, SPJIMR, NMIMS, SRCC, Christ, or similar).8–12 years of experience in Accounting, Finance Operations, and FP&A (preferably in SaaS or IT Services).Expertise in QuickBooks , Excel (advanced modeling) , and financial analytics.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.Strong organizational discipline, analytical rigor, and process mindset.Availability to join within 15 days.Mandatory on-site role – must be willing to work from our Bangalore office(MG Road)Preferred Qualifications
