Role Overview
As a Technical Java Lead , you will drive the design and development of high-performance, scalable enterprise applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to lead the full SDLC using Agile methodologies, ensuring high-quality deliverables and system reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Lead a team of Java developers through architecture, design, development, and deployment phasesDesign and develop microservices-based applications using Java 8 / 11+, Spring Boot, HibernateCollaborate with Product Owners and Architects for requirement analysis and solution designPerform code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain coding standardsTroubleshoot performance issues and optimize system response timesDrive continuous improvements in architecture and DevOps pipelines (CI / CD)Guide junior developers and support their technical upskillingParticipate in project estimation and planning, ensuring deliverables are on time and within scopeRequired Skills and Experience
8+ years of experience in Java development; at least 2 years in a lead roleStrong expertise in Spring Framework , Spring Boot , and RESTful APIsProficient in Hibernate / JPA , SQL / PL-SQL, and Oracle or PostgreSQLHands-on experience with Microservices Architecture and API gatewaysFamiliarity with Docker , Kubernetes , Jenkins , GitExperience in Agile / Scrum environmentsGood understanding of performance tuning and security standardsExcellent communication and leadership skillsNice to Have
Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS , Azure , or GCPExperience with front-end tech like Angular / React is a plusDomain knowledge in Banking, especially Payments or Lending systemsWhy Join Intellect Design Arena
