Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and versatile

3D Generalist VFX Artist

with

5+ years

of industry experience to join our dynamic creative team. If you're passionate about pushing the boundaries of 3D visuals and can handle the full spectrum of the 3D pipeline, we want to hear from you!

About the Role

As a 3D Generalist, you'll be at the heart of our creative process, contributing across the entire 3D pipeline to deliver stunning visuals for films, commercials, digital content, and immersive media. You'll work on everything from modeling and texturing to lighting, animation, FX, rendering, and compositing—blending technical expertise with artistic vision.

What You'll Do

Create high-quality 3D assets, environments, and props that bring creative visions to life

Manage the complete 3D pipeline : modeling, texturing, shading, lighting, animation, FX, rendering, and compositing

Develop both photorealistic and stylized visuals depending on project requirements

Collaborate closely with creative leads to interpret briefs and execute shots with precision

Seamlessly integrate 3D elements into live-action plates

Optimize scenes, assets, and workflows for performance and render efficiency

Troubleshoot technical and artistic challenges throughout production

Participate in look-development for new projects and R&D for emerging tools and workflows

What We're Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills :

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience as a 3D Generalist in a VFX, animation, or post-production studio

Strong proficiency in one or more of : 3DSMax, Maya, Blender, or Houdini

Excellent knowledge of texturing and look-dev tools (Substance Painter, Mari, or similar)

Strong understanding of lighting and rendering with Arnold, Redshift, VRay, or comparable engines

Solid grasp of animation principles

Strong understanding of compositing fundamentals

A keen artistic eye for composition, color, realism, detail, and storytelling

Excellent communication skills and proven ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative team environments

Strong deadline management skills with the ability to multitask and own shots from concept to completion

Highly Desirable :

Experience with FX simulations (particles, smoke, fire, cloth, destruction)

Proficiency in camera tracking and match moving

Experience with Unreal Engine or AI-driven tools
