Responsibilities

Data Collection and Management

Gather and consolidate healthcare data from various sources, including electronic health records (EHRs), medical claims, patient surveys, and clinical trials
Clean, transform, and organize medical data sets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency for analysis

Data Analysis and Interpretation

Apply statistical and analytical techniques to analyze medical data and identify patterns, trends, and insights related to patient demographics, disease prevalence, treatment outcomes, and healthcare utilization

Collaborate with medical professionals to interpret data findings and translate them into actionable recommendations for improving medical services and patient care

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to medical services

Monitor performance trends over time and provide regular reports and updates to stakeholders, including healthcare providers, administrators, and regulatory agencies

Quality Improvement Initiatives

Support quality improvement initiatives by conducting root cause analysis, benchmarking against industry standards, and identifying opportunities for process optimization

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data-driven interventions and evaluate their impact on patient outcomes and healthcare delivery

Regulatory Compliance and Data Governance

Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and data security standards in the collection, storage, and analysis of medical data

Establish and maintain data governance processes, including data documentation, metadata management, and data quality assurance
