We are looking for a

Skilled SMT Process Engineer

who will

lead our SMT department

and play a pivotal role in driving excellence in PCB assembly. This role is not just about machines and processes — it’s about

building, training, and leading a high-performing team

to deliver world-class results.

What You’ll Do

Lead and manage the

entire SMT department .

Set up,

program, monitor & optimize SMT processes

(Printing, Pick & Place, Reflow, AOI / SPI).

Work directly with

Yamaha Pick & Place machines, DEK Horizon printer, and Saki AOI systems

to achieve high process stability and output.

Train, guide & build a strong SMT team to drive

productivity and quality .

Support

NPI trials

and ensure smooth ramp-up for new projects.

Drive

process improvements

to boost yield, reduce defects & enhance efficiency.

Lead

root cause analysis

for process deviations and implement robust

corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

— driving a

zero-defect culture .

Collaborate with

design, quality & production teams

to meet customer requirements.

Develop and maintain

SOPs, work instructions, PFMEA, and control plans . Ensure compliance with

IPC-A-610

and internal quality benchmarks.

Optimize

reflow profiles, stencil designs, and placement accuracy

for yield enhancement.

What We’re Looking For

Diploma / B.Tech in

Electronics / Electrical .

2+ years’ experience

in SMT process engineering (EMS / PCB assembly).

Strong knowledge of

SMT machines

IPC-A-610 standards .

Proven ability to

lead teams, train operators & build a culture of excellence .

Strong problem-solving & hands-on technical expertise.

Nice to Have

Exposure to

NPI & DFM .

Familiarity with

Lean / Six Sigma .

Experience with

through-hole assembly .
