Job descriptionProficiency in 3D software such as Blender, Maya, 3ds Max, or Cinema 4D. Experience with photogrammetry tools (Metashape) or GIS data integration. Strong understanding of modeling, UV mapping, texturing, and PBR workflows. Familiarity with terrain reconstruction, city layout optimization, and level-of-detail management. Ability to interpret 2D maps, aerial imagery, or CAD data into accurate 3D representations. Portfolio showcasing urban or environmental 3D projects. Experience with LiDAR processing or large-scale environment generation pipelines. Knowledge of procedural modeling (Houdini, CityEngine, etc.). Familiarity with Unreal Engine, or similar real-time engines.
About the Role :
We are seeking a talented 3D Artist with experience in urban scene reconstruction to join our visualization and simulation team.
The ideal candidate has a strong eye for detail, proficiency in 3D modeling tools, and a passion for creating realistic urban environments derived from real-world data such as photogrammetry, LiDAR scans, or drone imagery.
Key Responsibilities :
- Reconstruct detailed 3D models of urban areas from reference data (photos, scans, point clouds, or aerial imagery).
- Optimize and texture large-scale environments for real-time rendering in Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar engines.
- Work with geospatial and photogrammetry experts to ensure accuracy and fidelity in city reconstruction.
- Create modular assets, building materials, and props to populate urban scenes.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, and artists to integrate assets into interactive experiences or simulations.
- Ensure adherence to performance, lighting, and rendering standards across platforms.
