Key Responsibilities

• To work as a member of the team on the preparation of Basic Engineering Package offered by Lummus Technology for Hydroprocessing technologies.
• To work on revamp projects as well as different studies. Prepare study reports.
• Conceptualization of Basis of Design.
• Co-ordinate process engineering activities with different engineering disciplines.
• Perform process engineering calculations and assigned tasks in compliance with Lummus standards.
• Able to work in compliance with Basis of Design and ensure accuracy of the document.
• Development of process simulations for different process units and generate Heat & Material Balances
• Development of Process Flow Diagram and Control Philosophy.
• Able to perform & review Unit Utility Balance.
• Development & review of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams, and Interlocks for safe operation of the plant.
• Development of Material Selection Diagram, Design Pressure and Design Temperature calculation.
• Preparation & review of process equipment datasheets including Column, Reactor, Vessel, Heat Exchanger, Pump, Compressor etc.
• Able to perform & review hydraulics calculation and line sizing.
• Able to calculate relief load for different over pressurization scenarios in conjunction with international industry codes and standards.
• Development & review of Instrument datasheets.
• Participate in different process improvement meetings, such as Basic Engineering Package review meeting.
• Preparation of customized Technical Proposal based on the client requirement.
