Job descriptionAssociate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in IT support, network monitoring, or system administration. Experience with network / system monitoring tools (OpManager, SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.). Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs). Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Certifications (Preferred but not required) : CompTIA Network+ or ITIL Foundation.
Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor network infrastructure, servers, and systems using tools like OpManager, SolarWinds, PRTG, or Zabbix.
- Identify and escalate network or system performance issues to senior engineers.
- Assist in troubleshooting basic connectivity issues and performance degradation.
- Document incidents, resolutions, and system health reports as per best practices.
- Monitor the health of conference rooms and escalate incidents with conference rooms and collaboration equipment to respective teams.
- Support end-users with basic IT issues related to network access and collaboration tools.
- Ensure smooth operation of video conferencing tools (Microsoft Teams) by assisting with setup and troubleshooting.
- Maintain accurate records of system configurations and monitoring activities.
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve monitoring processes and efficiency.
