Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in Accounting and Financial Products to join our growing consulting team. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders, finance teams, and technology partners to define requirements, manage product backlogs, and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation across systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements (BRD / FRD).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate accounting and financial needs into system features and enhancements.

Manage and prioritize product backlog items in Agile delivery environments.

Perform detailed data validation , ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.

Support reconciliation processes and troubleshoot discrepancies in accounting data.

Act as a liaison between business users, technology teams, and stakeholders for seamless communication and delivery.

Key Skills :

Accounting fundamentals and Financial Products knowledge

Backlog management and Business Analysis

Data validation and Stakeholder communication

Preferred Skills :

Strong understanding of GAAP / IFRS accounting principles

Reconciliation expertise

Experience with JIRA, Confluence

Hands-on with SQL and Excel for data analysis and validation

Exposure to Agile delivery methodologies

Experience in Investment Accounting , Asset Management , or Capital Markets

Prior work in consulting or large financial institutions
