Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a New Product Development Specialist - Bakery, located in Lucknow. The selected candidate will work on developing innovative bakery products, including cookies, bread, bakery premixes and other baked goods, by researching, designing, and testing recipes. The role involves experimenting with new ingredients, enhancing nutritional value, and ensuring high-quality standards in product development processes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to incorporate latest industry trends and compliance with food safety regulations is also part of the role.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Prior experience at a Bakery Premix or Bakery Ingredients Company or a leading Bakery Chain is a strong plus.
• Expertise in Bakery and Baking techniques, with a strong understanding of processes and tools.
• Deep understanding of the levers of taste, texture and nutrition in Bakery products and ingredients.
• Proficiency in working with various baked goods such as Bakery Premixes, Cookies and Bread
• Strong knowledge of ingredient functionality, clean labeling practices, and food safety regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Culinary Arts, or a related field is preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment and meet project timelines
• Prior experience in bakery or new product development in the food industry is an advantage
