Job descriptionWork with project managers to define scope, timelines, and delivery milestones. Anticipate and resolve technical or process challenges that may impact progress. Track and analyze engineering performance metrics to improve delivery efficiency and reliability. Oversee root cause analysis and ensure learnings from incidents are implemented effectively. Mentor and guide engineers to help them advance in their careers. Conduct 1 : 1 discussions, performance evaluations, and provide actionable feedback. Support recruitment initiatives, onboarding, and fostering a collaborative team culture. Build an environment that encourages innovation, ownership, and accountability. 1015 years of overall experience in software development. At least 8 years of hands-on coding experience. Minimum 2 years in an engineering leadership or management capacity. Demonstrated success in mentoring or leading engineering teams. Bachelors degree in Computer Science / Engineering (Masters or MBA is advantageous). Proficiency in backend technologies : Node.js, Python, Go, or Java. Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js. In-depth understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, CI / CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure as code. Proven ability to lead technical discussions and solve complex engineering problems. Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders. Experience thriving in fast-paced, agile environments with multiple priorities.
