Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior TIBCO Engineer to join our Integration and Middleware Team . In this role, you will lead the design, development, deployment, and optimization of enterprise integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (Container Edition) .

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build cloud-native, containerized, and event-driven integrations supporting global business operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep TIBCO expertise combined with practical exposure to AWS or Azure runtime services , ensuring high availability, scalability, and security in hybrid and cloud environments.

This is a pivotal position in our digital transformation journey , driving modernization, automation, and agility across enterprise integration landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and Develop Integrations : Architect and implement enterprise-grade integration solutions using TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (Container Edition) — including API development, data mapping, and real-time / batch process orchestration.
  • Cloud Deployment & Management : Deploy, monitor, and optimize TIBCO applications on AWS (EKS / ECS) or Azure (AKS / App Service) runtime services using Kubernetes for container orchestration and scalability.
  • Performance Optimization : Monitor and troubleshoot TIBCO environments with TIBCO Hawk and EMS , ensuring high throughput, resilience, and uptime.
  • CI / CD & Automation : Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate builds and deployments using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps , incorporating Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform or Bicep .
  • Migration & Modernization : Lead migration projects from legacy TIBCO (BW 5.x) to BWCE 6.x , including containerization (Docker) and microservices transformation.
  • Collaboration & Mentorship : Partner with business analysts, architects, and developers to translate requirements into scalable solutions; mentor junior engineers on TIBCO and cloud integration best practices.
  • Security & Compliance : Implement secure integration patterns (OAuth, SSL / TLS) and ensure adherence to compliance frameworks like GDPR and SOC 2 .
  • Innovation : Research and evaluate emerging integration technologies (e.g., Kafka , serverless architectures ) and propose enhancements for scalability and efficiency.

Mandatory Skills

  • TIBCO BusinessWorks 6.x (Container Edition) – Development, deployment, and administration.
  • Containerization & Orchestration : Docker, Kubernetes.
  • CI / CD Integration : Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
  • Scripting : Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Monitoring : TIBCO Hawk, EMS, and cloud-based tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
  • Infrastructure as Code : Terraform or ARM / Bicep templates.
  • Middleware & Messaging : TIBCO EMS, ActiveSpaces, REST / SOAP APIs.

    • Good to Have

  • Working knowledge of AWS (EKS, ECS) or Azure (AKS, App Service) runtime services.
  • Exposure to ETL / ELT tools such as Fivetran .
  • Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, JMS).
  • Experience in hybrid cloud setups or microservices-based modernization .
  • TIBCO Certification (e.g., TIBCO BusinessWorks 6 Certified Professional).

    • Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 7–10 years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4+ years in TIBCO integration technologies .
  • Proven hands-on experience in building and deploying TIBCO applications in containerized environments.
  • Working knowledge of AWS or Azure runtime environments (EKS / ECS / AKS / App Service).
  • Strong proficiency in Java, XML / JSON, REST / SOAP, and SQL for integration logic.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices , monitoring, and logging solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
