Job Purpose
The Accounts Payable professional is responsible for managing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in payments, maintaining vendor relationships, and providing support for month-end closing and audits
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and accurate and timely processing of Invoice in ERP.
- Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Sort, GST code and match invoices
- Set invoices up for payment to vendor
- Enter and upload invoices into ERP system
- Track expenses and process expense reports
- Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments
- Prepare and perform check runs
- Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions
- Prepare analysis of accounts
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
- Maintain vendor reconciliation files
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries
- Produce monthly reports as required by seniors (MIS)
- Assist with month end closing
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain accurate historical records
- Maintain confidentiality of organizational information.
- Knowledge of TDS deduction, online payment of TDS, E-filing return etc.
- Knowledge of GST and GST Return filing and maintain due date of return filing.

Bachelor’s degree in commerce.Knowledge
