Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for an AWS Administrator. The AWS Administrator will be responsible for managing and monitoring AWS environments, ensuring cloud security, and optimizing performance. Day-to-day tasks include setting up and maintaining AWS services, executing backup and recovery procedures, troubleshooting issues, and automating cloud operations. Additionally, the AWS Administrator will be responsible for implementing best practices, managing access controls, and providing support to development teams.

Qualifications

Experience in AWS administration, including setup and maintenance of AWS services

Cloud security management and implementation of best practices

Performance optimization, backup, and recovery procedures

Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Automation and scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash)

Knowledge of networking concepts and access control management

Experience in DevOps practices and support to development teams

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator are a plus
