We design and operate leading digital payment and transactional solutions that enable sustainable economic growth and reinforce trust and security in our societies.So that to support the plan, we need a highly skilled Devops Engineer In the department of Authorization & Switching Global Products (Worldline GmbH), the Software Factory Transversal Services develop and provide services for Continuous Integration / Deployment and maintenance of Platform for different Production Lines and Instances. We work on strategic initiative for reducing complexity of customer onboarding.In the initiative, we rework the tools and the onboarding workflow in order to simplify the onboarding, to be more robust and quicker.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities 

Further developing and establishing DevOps infrastructures for our software development and our product WLP Front Office.
Development and automation of Infrastructure provisioning
Development and implementation of pipelines in terms of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
Automation of recurring tasks using latest tools and technologies
Improve our development environments and tools together with all Stakeholders
Prepare and do trainings for internal developers for the usage of new tools
Vulnerability Scans for all Open Source Software being actively used
Work inside an Agile Team in a Scrumban (Kanplan) approach

Who Are We Looking For

University degree (master) in computer science or engineering

6-10 years of work experience in IT services and / or software development or equivalent area

You adopt and promote a DevOps-Mindset and always think holistically across development or operational boundaries in your solutions

You identify improvement opportunities and optimization potential in our supported infrastructure in terms of stability, performance and level of automation.

In addition you identify new technical trends in the Cloud Computing environment

You also have proven experience in building and maintaining CI / CD Pipelines and are comfortable using IaC technologies and tools such as Terraform and Puppet, as well as a CI system such as Gitlab.

You have deeper knowledge and experience in orchestrating tools preferably k8s.

Deep knowledge in Containerization Docker preferred.

GitLab CI / CD pipeline implementation and configuration knowledge.

Good to have knowledge of Puppet & Terraform

Experience with performance Monitoring Tools like Grafana, Prometheus and Telemetry.

You have worked on Linux / Unix platforms, maybe even have some development background using C++, Java and / or PL / SQL

Curiosity, willingness to learn and improve

Strong communication abilities and very good English skills
