We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive SQL Server Customer Engineer with deep expertise in SQL Server Core / Engine and a strong understanding of related data technologies. The ideal candidate will be capable of handling complex reactive scenarios, driving technical resolutions, and collaborating effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities :
SQL Server Expertise :
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of SQL Server Core / Engine including concepts, architecture, performance tuning, high availability (Failover Clustering, Availability Groups), security, maintenance, and upgrade / migration strategies.
- Stay current with the evolution of SQL Server and its enhancements across versions.
- Apply hands-on experience in SQL Server setup, patching, and operational troubleshooting.
Data Platform Skills :
Possess breadth of experience across related technologies including Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Azure Data Services.Reactive Scenario Management :
Lead troubleshooting efforts for performance issues, high availability configurations, migrations, and security incidents.Develop and execute clear action plans, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up to closure.Provide SQL Server administration and operational support in reactive situations.Stakeholder Engagement :
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, application owners, and technical teams.Handle escalations with professionalism and technical leadership.Collaboration & Delivery :
Work closely with internal and external team members to ensure seamless delivery.Be ready to contribute immediately without dependency on ramp-up or training.Work Schedule & Availability :
Willingness to work in shifts aligned with client operating hours (excluding night shifts).Maintain availability during allocated 8-hour weekday slots; occasional weekend work may be required based on client needs.Be physically present onsite as required for delivery and client engagement.Professionalism & Growth :
