Job Title : Data Associate - Operations

Location : Vadodara, Gujarat

Shift Timing : 9 : 30 PM – 6 : 30 PM (Nigh Shift)

About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Data Associate to support our operations team. The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced Excel, financial data handling, and vendor data management . This position requires analytical skills, accuracy, and effective communication to manage large datasets, ensure data quality, and support process compliance across business functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage, validate, and update financial and operational data in internal systems and databases.

Prepare and maintain Excel-based reports and dashboards for management reviews.

Review data files and supporting documents to identify inconsistencies, missing information, or discrepancies.

Use advanced Excel tools (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query, formulas, conditional formatting) for data cleaning, transformation, and analysis.

Maintain vendor information, track payment-related data, and ensure accurate documentation for all transactions.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to collect, verify, and update business and financial information.

Support audit requests, reconciliations, and data validation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Ensure data integrity across systems through regular checks, version control, and process standardization.

Generate periodic reports and summaries for leadership and process improvement initiatives.

Assist in special projects involving data automation, analytics, and process optimization .

Qualifications & Skills :

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience : 1 - 3 years of experience in data operations, reporting, or financial data management .

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel , including advanced formulas, data transformation, and reporting functions.

Experience with data management systems or ERP tools is an advantage.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
