About the Role
We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Captain with strong Python automation expertise and practical experience working in Kubernetes environments .
This is a senior hands-on QA role where you’ll design, automate, and execute test frameworks for complex distributed systems deployed on Kubernetes.
You’ll work closely with engineering and DevOps teams to ensure product quality, scalability, and resilience across all environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Python and PyTest .
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for distributed systems and microservices.
- Work hands-on with Kubernetes — create test setups, debug pods, services, and identify performance or connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot issues in containerized environments , collaborating with DevOps and SRE teams.
- Build and manage test harnesses, test data, and automation pipelines .
- Participate in code reviews, CI / CD validation, and release sign-offs .
- Document QA processes, promote best practices in test automation , and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product reliability, scalability, and performance.
Must-Have Skills
5+ years in QA / Test Automation for enterprise software or SaaS products.Strong experience with Python and PyTest for automation.Minimum 6 months of hands-on experience with Kubernetes (creating, deploying, and debugging applications).Strong understanding of distributed systems and debugging microservice issues in containerized environments.Experience with CI / CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Harness, etc.).Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.Familiarity with Agile and DevOps processes.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good-to-Have Skills
Playwright or similar browser automation tools (Cypress, Selenium).Exposure to Observability / Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.Familiarity with AIOps, ITOM, or Performance Monitoring .Knowledge of additional programming languages (Go, Java, JavaScript / TypeScript).Experience in performance or load testing.Why You’ll Love It
