Job description

Key Responsibilities :

  • Own end-to-end management of programmatic ad campaigns for Indian clients : campaign planning, trafficking, budget setup, targeting, and delivery.
  • Work with DSPs, ad exchanges, SSPs, ad servers & other programmatic tools.
  • Ensure correct tag implementation, creative trafficking, ad placements, frequency / audience targeting as per campaign objectives.
  • Ensure technical QA of creatives (display, banners, video, rich media etc.), ad tags, tracking pixels, verification tools; troubleshoot issues (delivery, rendering, discrepancy etc.).
  • Monitor campaign performance on ongoing basis : metrics such as CTR, CPC, CPM, viewability, completion rate (for video), conversion rates etc. Identify optimization opportunities and take corrective actions (bid optimizations, adjust targeting, retargeting, creative refresh etc.).
  • Analyse campaign data and generate regular reports for clients & internal stakeholders. Extract insights, highlight trends & areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate with the creative, product, engineering (if needed) and analytics teams to implement new ad formats / placements, integration changes, or improved measurement processes.
  • Maintain documentation and best practices for processes (trafficking, QA, optimization). Stay updated with AdTech / programmatic trends, Indian market specific requirements (GDPR, data privacy, ad viewability, regional ad platforms) and competitive landscape.

What We're Looking For :

  • 1-4 years (adjust as per seniority) of experience in Ad Operations / Programmatic focusing on campaign management in India.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising ecosystem - DSPs, SSPs, ad exchanges, ad servers, programmatic deal types (e.g. real-time bidding, private marketplace, programmatic guaranteed).
  • Experience managing campaigns for Indian clients : familiar with local ad platforms, Indian market purchasing behavior, regulatory / privacy considerations.
  • Good technical skills : creative / ad tag QA, tracking pixel setup, ad serving tools.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as HTML / CSS / JS (for creatives), tag managers, verification tools.
  • Strong analytical mindset : ability to interpret performance data, find trends, suggest & implement optimizations. Comfortable working with reporting tools, Excel / Google Sheets, dashboards etc.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written), especially to coordinate cross-functional teams and to present findings / suggestions to clients.
  • Attention to detail; ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously under deadline pressure.
  • Preferred / Nice to have :

  • Exposure to advanced programmatic features - e.g. header bidding, viewability, video ad measurement, dynamic creative optimization.
  • Experience with Indian DSPs / local ad exchanges.
  • Experience using BI / analytics tools for deeper insight extraction (Tableau, Power BI, Looker etc.).
  • Prior work in e-commerce / D2C brands.
