As part of our Supply team, you will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse, including receipting, storing, and issuing materials to internal customers across Council.
You will provide friendly and professional customer service, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure materials are delivered where and when they are needed. Working collaboratively in your team, you’ll uphold our values of safety, excellence, and integrity in everything you do.
This role also offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and departmental projects, supporting the smooth operation of our stores and logistics functions.
Your key focus areas are.
- Deliver excellent service while providing materials, support and information to meet the needs of our customers
- Undertake the manual handling aspects of the store operation including safely receiving, issuing, delivering and storing materials
- Administration tasks such as maintaining accurate records using our electronic inventory control system, including receipting, reconciling and issuing of goods
- Safely operate plant and equipment including vehicles, forklifts, pallet jacks and hydraulic trolleys
- Assist with the delivery and pickup of internal mail and materials

Your background includes experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory management, and you’re comfortable using computer systems to manage stock and records. A strong communicator, you build positive relationships and deliver excellent service to both internal and external customers.
