Randstad is seeking a highly experienced and strategic
Senior Manager – Buyer, Global Procurement Operations
to join our client's Capability Center in Bengaluru. This role is critical in leading the operational execution, compliance, and standardization of the global Procure-to-Pay process, with a focus on supporting the highly regulated
Life Sciences and Manufacturing
sectors.

Key Responsibilities
1. Global P2P Leadership & Process Management
Own and manage the end-to-end
Procure-to-Pay and Requisition-to-Order
lifecycle, ensuring operational efficiency and compliance across all global transactions.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement across PR, PO and invoice resolution workflows within the Capability Center ({CoE\GBS) framework.
Enforce rigorous
Approved Supplier List (ASL) governance
and ensure strict adherence to all global procurement policies and contractual standards.
2. Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Buyers and Procurement Analysts, setting clear team goals and managing workload allocation for performance improvement.
Manage complex global stakeholders across time zones, collaborating closely with Finance, Sourcing, and Operations teams to ensure seamless cross-functional alignment.
3. Systems, Data & Compliance
Serve as a subject matter expert in core ERP systems (e.g.,
SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Zycus ) and eRFx tools, leveraging them to drive automation and scalability.
Utilize advanced data analysis tools ( Excel, Power BI ) to conduct spend analysis, report on supplier performance metrics, and identify cost optimization levers.
Apply a strong process mindset to focus on automation and operational efficiency within a highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Experience : Minimum
10+ years
of progressive experience in Procurement Operations and Sourcing, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
P2P Expertise :
Proven deep knowledge of P2P best practices, controls, and invoice resolution.
Systems :
Hands-on proficiency in a major ERP (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and eRFx tools.
Leadership :
Track record of managing, coaching, and developing a team in a fast-paced, global setting.
Industry Preference (Highly Desired) :
Direct experience in global procurement operations within the
Life Sciences, Pharma, Biotech, Healthcare, or complex Manufacturing
sectors.
