Job Title : Middleware Engineer RabbitMQ
Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Middleware Engineer with strong experience in Oracle WebLogic, RabbitMQ, and infrastructure automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the deployment, configuration, and support of enterprise middleware platforms, as well as the design and implementation of automated solutions to improve efficiency, scalability, and reliability across the environment.
Role and Responsibilities :
- Install, configure, and administer Oracle WebLogic Server environments including clustering, load balancing, and performance tuning.
- Set up, manage, and monitor RabbitMQ messaging systems with a focus on availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Oracle WebLogic and RabbitMQ environments.
- Monitor and troubleshoot server and application performance issues.
- Deploy, configure, and tune WebLogic Server domains, managed servers, clusters, and data sources.
- Manage RabbitMQ clusters, including configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure automation scripts using Ansible, Terraform, Python, or Shell.
- Automate middleware provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and patching processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve middleware-related issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to integrate middleware services into CI / CD pipelines.
- Ensure middleware systems meet business requirements for uptime, performance, and security.
- Maintain detailed documentation of middleware architectures, configurations, and standard operating procedures.
- Participate in capacity planning, architecture reviews, and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide support during production incidents and perform root cause analysis
Required Skills :
8+ years of experience as a Middleware Engineer, Systems Engineer, or similar role.Deep hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server (11g / 12c) including domain creation, JDBC / Data Source management, and performance tuning.Strong expertise in RabbitMQ, including message broker clustering, queue design, and monitoring.Proven experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Shell).Strong knowledge of Linux / Unix systems administration.Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog).Understanding of security practices for middleware and messaging systems (eg., SSL / TLS, to Have :WebLogic CertifiedAWS KnowledgeAutomation Knowledge (Ansible, Python, Shell scripting(ref : hirist.tech)
