Architect / Draftsperson– Residential Construction

We’re growing and looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architect or Draftsperson with strong AutoCAD and REVIT experience, and ideally a solid background in residential construction.

This candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of all steps related to project completion and diligently communicate with necessary people to ensure timely execution. This candidate should also be able to conduct quality assurance checks on a frequent basis in order to ensure regulations are being followed.

Responsibilities

Complete drafting tasks on time, proactively resolving issues with your manager.

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

Collaborate with the team to meet compliance, functionality, and aesthetic standards.

Revise drawings based on feedback, design changes, or new information.

Prepare final construction drawing sets for approval and build.

Skills & Experience

Proficiency in AutoCAD & Revit

Minimum 5 years of hands-on AutoCAD experience (Residential experience preferred).

Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in documentation.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Capability to mentor and support junior staff when needed.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

A good understanding of the NCC, Australian Building Regulations, and relevant Standards is a strong advantage.

Qualifications :

Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering.

3+ years of experience in architectural drafting.

Organised, creative, and capable of presenting ideas clearly.

Strong documentation, planning, and coordination skills
