Remote Healthcare Interpreter (English / Mandarin)

Our client is a BPO company specializing in providing comprehensive language solutions. We offer expertise in Medical Interpretation through Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) services, ensuring seamless communication in healthcare sectors.

Role Description :

This is a full-time remote Entry Level English-Mandarin Medical OPI / VRI role. The Medical Interpreter will be responsible for providing accurate consecutive over-the-phone interpretation services between English and Mandarin in medical settings. The role will involve facilitating communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure effective understanding and care.

Qualifications :

Fluency in English and Mandarin

Excellent communication and listening skills

Relevant certification in Medical Interpretation or related field (preferred)

HIPAA compliant

Requirements :

Ethernet connection (connected directly to router via cable), no Wi-Fi

Noise-canceling mic and USB connection headset

Browser : Latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox

Have full-time availability from MON-FRI, from 9 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm EST
