Android Developer (Kotlin)

The Android Software Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience and will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality mobile solutions that meet business needs. This role offers the opportunity to work as a mid-level or senior developer depending on experience.

Responsibilities :

• Develop test and maintain robust and scalable Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with designers project managers and other developers to implement new features and enhancements.
• Participate in the entire mobile app development lifecycle including requirements analysis design coding testing and deployment.
• Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth operation and optimal performance of Android applications.
• Optimize applications for performance scalability and security.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development processes and standards.

Requirements

Bachelors degree BE B Tech MSC IT MCA (Computer Engineering)

1-3 years of experience as an Android Developer or similar role with a focus on Kotlin.

Strong proficiency in Kotlin programming and Android development frameworks.

Experience with Android development tools such as Android Studio.

Proficiency in integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services into mobile applications.

Familiarity with version control systems especially Git.

Understanding of mobile app security performance optimization and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills :

Experience with DevOps practices and tools.

Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with cloud services and backend integration.

Work Environment :

Collaborative office setting with Support From Seniors

The position may require occasional on-call or after-hours work to address urgent issues.
