Position : Registrar – Gynecologist

Department : Obstetrics & Gynecology

Location : Continental Hospitals,

Reporting To : Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynecology

Role Objective :

To provide clinical support in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of women with gynecological and obstetric conditions under the guidance of senior consultants, ensuring high-quality and safe patient care.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist senior gynecologists in conducting outpatient consultations, inpatient rounds, deliveries, and surgeries.

Manage patients in the labor room, including normal and assisted deliveries.

Provide care for antenatal, postnatal, and gynecological patients.

Handle emergencies such as ectopic pregnancy, PPH, eclampsia, and other obstetric complications.

Prepare and maintain accurate medical records, case notes, and discharge summaries.

Support the team in pre-operative and post-operative care.

Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols and infection control policies.

Participate in clinical audits, CME programs, and departmental meetings.

Qualifications & Experience :

MBBS with MS / DNB / DGO in Obstetrics & Gynecology

0–3 years of relevant clinical experience

Registration with State Medical Council / MCI is mandatory

Key Skills :

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in gynecology and obstetrics

Ability to handle labor room independently (preferred)

Good communication and teamwork

Patient-centric and compassionate approach
