Job Description

We are looking to hire an experienced writer to join our content team. Your role will be to make automotive content simple and accessible to prospective car buyers. You will need to be proficient in creating content that is insightful and helpful while being easy to read.

The content will be aimed at helping car buyers in understanding different topics that affect a purchase. You will have to analyse ideas, plan and organise your and the team's workflow, with regular reporting on progress. Strong communication skills, passion for automobiles, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential. This is not a camera-facing role.

Objectives of this role

Expand content outflow
Increase the clarity and focus on our content
Efficient, timely content creation
Cross-team coordination

Your tasks

Create content – mostly text and articles

Coordinate across teams to meet deadlines with high quality content

Re-write copy and help juniors improve their copy

Research topics, trends and fact-check articles

Plan and coordinate goals and progress of content team

Create reports on content and new vehicles regularly

This is not a remote or WFH role.

Requirements

Essential :

Graduate in any field

3-5 years of writing experience, preferably in special interest publications

Fundamental knowledge of cars and bikes

Coordinate with editorial team to make sure we meet goals and delivery timelines.

Preferred :

Ability to generate creative ideas

Manage a content calendar

Ability to identify key aspects to help users make better decisions

Ability to develop content formats to solve needs of car buyers
